There are no real “sales courses” in colleges or universities. Or at least when I was attending back in 1975-1984, the closest I had heard about was in Economics or Business Schools, but that is far from “real” sales. For that, you have to knock on doors. Yes, door-to-door, on commission.
Sales jobs are where you earn your income after the sale is made.
So was the training I followed during my college years by signing up for the Southwestern Publishing Company, summer sales program.
